CSAM is pleased to announce the appointment of Linus Fred to the position of Managing Director for CSAM Sweden. In his new role, Linus will be responsible for all of CSAM’s operations in the Swedish market.
“Linus has shown tremendous leadership in his short time at CSAM,” said Sverre Flatby, CEO. “His combined experience in sales, marketing and senior management make him uniquely qualified to lead CSAM’s operations in this important market.”
Sweden is the largest market in CSAM’s expanding portfolio of customers. Last year, the company strengthened its position in this market with the acquisition of Databyrån, the makers of ProSang, Scandinavia’s leading blood management system.

Linus began his career in eHealth more than 25 years ago at Profdoc AB, an electronic medical records (EMR) company in Uppsala, Sweden. Starting in 1993, he joined the company in a sales role, taking on increasingly senior positions, including Sales & Marketing Manager and Vice President. In 2005, Linus was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Three years later, Profdoc was acquired by CompuGroup Medical (CGM), and Linus continued on in his position as CEO until 2012.
After two decades of career achievements and working intensely to build the eHealth business at Profdoc and CGM, Linus left the company on parental leave to raise his newborn son and spend more time with his family.
Over the past several years, Linus spent time working on various entrepreneurial pursuits, including a successful music distribution company and eHealth consulting business. His passion for building sales-driven organizations from the ground up is part of what drew him to CSAM. He joined the company earlier this year as Sales Director for the Swedish market.

When he’s not working, Linus enjoys spending quality time with his family, listening to music and playing the guitar.
