Software Tester with automation in mind that saves lives
An ambulance with emergency lights on quickly navigates through traffic to rescue a person in distress. The feeling that you have contributed to the rapid response of the ambulance is very rewarding. The contribution to society is evident when you work with technology that saves lives.
We are about 100 people at CSAM Public Safety. The majority are located in Gothenburg, but we also have offices in Oslo, Karlstad, Stockholm, Valencia (Spain), Reading (UK) and Auckland (NZ). Of course, we also have “home offices” and it is perfectly ok to be working from home too.
We are expanding and are seeking a software tester who is passionate about automation and wants to contribute with new ideas and breaking new grounds.
We have a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing. If you want to work in this inspiring environment where you also contribute to society – then this might be the position for you!
Your daily work
Your passion is to automate and also execute manual tests together with maintenance and improvements of the environment for automatic testing.
You will work
You will do this together with your development team to make sure that our suite of products meets, and hopefully exceeds, our high-quality standards.
We have a complete software stack with both back-end and front-end (User Interface) products that are integrated together into our system solution. Our products’ target characteristics are user-friendly, automation and simplicity. We also make sure to have fun at work – we believe that if you have fun together with your colleagues, you also do a good job!
Who are you?
You have a passion for automation and testing and constantly want to develop your skills and are happy to share your knowledge and ideas with the entire team.
In addition to your degree in software engineering/testing you are a team player with a positive attitude and can-do mentality. Furthermore, you are good at finding solutions, that you can explain verbally and in writing.
We expect that you have relevant experience in:
- Automation and test tools, e.g., Cucumber, Selenium or similar
- Experience in a Windows-environment (Visual Studio, C#/.NET, ADS)
- ISTQB – certification
It is a merit if you also have experience of one or more of the following:
- Azure DevOps Server or similar DevOps-environments, e.g., Jenkins
- SQL – SQL Server
- Micro services / Containers
