Seeking a world-class team leader
CSAM Public Safety is establishing a new development team tapping the skills of both existing and new team members. We are seeking a highly driven manager that possesses software development skills, is passionate about innovation and is keen to breaking new ground.

  • CSAM Public Safety consists of approximately 100 employees.
  • While most of our team is in Gothenburg, we are an exciting and diverse organisation that includes offices in Oslo, Karlstad, Stockholm, Valencia (Spain), Reading (UK), Chicago (US) and Auckland (NZ).
  • With “Home office” a new staple in today’s work environment, we also offer a hybrid workplace combining in-office and home-office.
  • The position will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Your daily work
You will be a part of the software development process for mission critical operations such as Emergency Response (112) or Search and Rescue. Your employees will explore and implement new technologies, new functionality, refactor/evolve our architecture to run on containers and move into the cloud. Your role will be to work with product management and solution architects driving the early (exploratory) phases and lead development teams to ensure streamlined routines, systemisation, and implementation of processes.

Responsibilities will include leading a team, coaching individual development, and planning of agile work routines. Our company mantra includes having fun at work. CSAM believes having fun working with your colleagues also contributes to job satisfaction and a job well done!

You will be involved in further developing CPS’ complete software stack featuring back-end and front-end (User Interface) products integrated into our top-level system solution, and ensuring products are user-friendly, automated and promote simplicity of use.

In addition to a university software degree, you are a team player with a positive attitude and a can-do mentality. You excel at identifying good solutions that you can detail both verbally and in written form. To succeed in this role, candidates much have a minimum of 2 years of experience from a similar software development leadership role.

Additional desirable experience in one or more of the following:

  • .NET and C# (or equivalent)
  • Development of complex SW system solutions
  • Containers and orchestration, preferably Kubernetes
  • Logging and monitoring tools such as Elastic, Prometheus or Grafana

Swedish citizenship is required, as well as full proficiency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
