Front-End WPF/XAML Developer saving lives
An ambulance with emergency lights on quickly navigates through traffic to rescue a person in distress. The feeling that you have contributed to the rapid response of the ambulance is very rewarding. The contribution to society is evident when you work with technology that saves lives.
We are about 100 people at CSAM Public Safety. The majority are located in Gothenburg, but we also have offices in Oslo, Karlstad, Stockholm, Valencia (Spain), Reading (UK) and Auckland (NZ). Of course, we also have “home offices” and it is perfectly ok to be working from home too. We are expanding and growing our team looking for a software developer who is passionate about innovation and want to contribute with new ideas and breaking new grounds. We have a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing. If you want to work in this inspiring environment where you also contribute to society – then this might be the position for you!
Your daily work
You will systemize and develop software for mission critical operations such as Emergency Response (112) or Search and Rescue. You will work with implementing new technologies, new functionality, and be part of our journey to migrate our architecture to run on containers and move into the cloud. Your role will be to work in the development team together with the other developers, product owners and solution architects to ensure that this is systemized and implemented in the best way.
You will initially work primarily with front-end (user interface) based on input from UX design. Since we have a complete software stack, it is possible to work also with the back-end over time. Our products’ target characteristics are user-friendly, automation and simplicity. We also make sure to have fun at work – we believe that if you have fun together with your colleagues, you also do a good job!
Who are you?
You have a passion for systemization and programming and constantly want to develop your skills and are happy to share your knowledge and ideas with the entire team. In addition to your university degree in software engineering, you are a team player with a positive attitude and can-do mentality. Furthermore, you are good at finding solutions that you are explaining verbally and in writing.
We expect that you have at least five years of relevant experience in:
- .NET and C#
- Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and XAML
It is a merit if you also have experience of one or more of the following:
- Web technologies and development tools, such as React/Redux
- New development technologies like WinUI, MAUI, Blazor etc.
Swedish citizenship is required, as well as full proficiency in English and Swedish, both spoken and in writing.
