Chief Software Architect saving lives
An ambulance with emergency lights on quickly navigates through traffic to rescue a person in distress. The feeling that you have contributed to the rapid response of the ambulance is very rewarding. The contribution to society is tangible when you work with technology that saves lives.
We are about 100 people at CSAM Public Safety. The majority are located in Gothenburg, but we also have offices in Oslo, Karlstad, Stockholm, Valencia (Spain), Reading (UK) and Auckland (NZ). Of course, we also have “home offices” and it is perfectly ok to be working from home too. We are expanding and growing our team looking for a driven developer/architect who is passionate about innovation and want to contribute with new ideas and breaking new grounds. We have a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing. If you want to work in this inspiring environment where you also contribute to society – then this might be the position for you!
Your daily work
You will play an important role in our business, developing and supplying software for mission critical operations such as e.g. Emergency Response (112) or Search and Rescue. You will join us on our journey to refactor our architecture moving to containers and making it possible to migrate to different types of cloud environments. Your role as Chief SW Architect will be to lead the SW architecture refactoring/evolution and work together with the development teams to ensure that this is implemented in the best way.
We have a complete software stack, with both back-end and front-end (User Interface) products that are integrated together into our system solution. Our products’ target characteristics are user-friendly, automation and simplicity. We also make sure to have fun at work – we believe that if you have fun together with your colleagues, you also do a good job!
Who are you?
You have a passion for SW architecture and programming, constantly want to improve your skills and are happy to share your knowledge and ideas with the whole team. In addition to your university degree in software engineering, you are a team player with a positive attitude and can-do mentality. Furthermore, you are good at finding solutions that you are explaining verbally and in writing both in Swedish and English. We expect that you have at least five years of relevant experience in:
- .NET and C #
- SW Architecture, structuring, refactoring, best-practices, preferably from large system solutions
It is a merit if you also have experience of one or more of the following:
- Web technologies and development tools
- Containers and orchestration, preferably Kubernetes
