Partus is a specialist system for clinicians. It is designed to support all aspects regarding the maternity process, through pregnancy and childbirth to post natal care.
The different modules are integrated towards other hospital information systems like PAS, EPR and Medical Technical Equipment. Partus does also enable the sending of electronical messages to national institutions, like the tax ministry, and surveillance registries like the medical birth registry. Partogrammet is a module for registering activities related to the actual delivery. The registration is performed in a graphic user friendly interface, and the Partogram is a very powerful and popular tool.

Administration and overview
Partus has a strong configurable PAS module. This includes system administration, set up and configuration of organizational elements like user roles and their relation to organizational departments. The Pas modules have also a flexible functionally regarding configuration of codes. In addition the module includes an extensive set of lists which enables patient filtering based on different parameters like
Quality management
Partus is based on complete registration templates where information is registered in a structured manner and free text is reduced to a minimal. This facilitates the quality assurance of the activities performed during the maternity process, and enables extensive monitoring of hospital and clinical performance. A sophisticated statistic package is included in the license fee. Partus does also enable the generation of structured codes (ICD-10/NCMP-NCSP), and the transmission of the generated codes to the PAS or the EPR.
